Senior Frontend Engineer
You'll own the surfaces our customers and regulators actually touch. This is a hands-on senior role: you'll write production React every day, own our shared design system, and ship product — turning dense regulatory and supervisory requirements into interfaces that are fast, accessible, and trustworthy.
Building the product surface of the Compliance OS
Bluprynt is the compliance operating system for digital assets — the enterprise infrastructure that links off-chain compliance to on-chain identity, policy, and supervisory visibility. We help issuers, banks, and market participants meet regulatory expectations without giving up the speed and modularity of on-chain systems.
We completed the EU's first MiCA pilot, launched Know Your Issuer (KYI) with Paxos and Circle, partnered with Chainlink on automated on-chain compliance enforcement, and closed an oversubscribed $4.25M seed round in 2026. We build in close alignment with central banks and regulators worldwide.
Why it matters: a regulator approving a stablecoin issuer, an issuer proving 26 continuous compliance obligations on a recurring cadence, a supervisor watching collateral ratios and redemption flows across asset classes in real time — each of these is a screen someone relies on to make a high-stakes decision. Today that evidence is assembled by hand. You'll build the interfaces that make it legible, real-time, and auditable.
You're also joining at an inflection point. We're migrating from a prototype-era frontend (Pages Router, MobX) to a modern target architecture (App Router + RSC, TanStack Query + Jotai, Tailwind v4, a shared component library) — and you'll have major influence over how that transition lands.
The bar
What you'll own
- Production React across our customer- and regulator-facing applications.
- The shared @blupryntco/ui design system — components, semantic tokens, Storybook docs, and a bidirectional Figma ↔ code workflow (our specs are written for direct ingestion by AI design/dev agents).
- Leading the migration to the target stack without freezing product delivery.
- A strong code-review culture across embedded and agency engineers — influence without direct authority.
- Translating ambiguous regulatory and product requirements into precise, phased specs; shipping V1 with known limitations and iterating in production.
Core frontend
- React (expert) + Next.jsDeep, current React (18/19) and production Next.js across App Router (RSC, server actions, 'use client' boundaries) and Pages Router. You reason confidently about render performance, React.memo, Suspense, and a layered error strategy under real load.
- TypeScript at strict settingsstrict: true, often noUncheckedIndexedAccess and exactOptionalPropertyTypes. Precise types, clean domain modeling, Zod at boundaries.
- Modern styling & design systemsTailwind (v3 and v4 @theme runtime config), shadcn/ui + Radix, class-variance-authority, and the cn() (clsx + tailwind-merge) pattern. Dark mode and WCAG AA contrast are a default, not optional polish.
- State & data fetchingTanStack Query (v5) for server state and Jotai for client state are the target standard; you're comfortable migrating legacy MobX stores. TanStack Table for the dense data grids that dominate compliance and supervisory views.
- Forms at depthMulti-step, schema-driven, validated forms are core here (KYC/KYI flows, issuer applications, regulatory filings). React Hook Form or Formik + Zod; schema/JSON-driven form engines a plus (we maintain our own).
- Data visualizationRecharts or equivalent for supervisory dashboards: asset-class analytics, transaction monitoring, collateral ratios, redemption tracking, RWA market data.
- Testing disciplineVitest + React Testing Library (≥80% lines / ≥70% branches, higher bar on new code), Playwright + axe-core for E2E and accessibility, Storybook + Chromatic for docs and visual regression. We don't .skip or delete a failing test to ship.
- Modern toolingTurborepo + pnpm/bun monorepos, Vite, Biome, and publishing/consuming a versioned internal component library.
Web3 in the browser
- Wallet & on-chain interactionwagmi + viem (and/or ethers), wallet-connection UX (Reown/AppKit), transaction lifecycle, signing flows, and surfacing gas and confirmation state without confusing users.
- Multi-chain UIAbstracting chain differences across EVM/Base/Sepolia, Solana (wallet-adapter), XRP/Ripple, Plume, Aptos, Avalanche, and Stellar; reading on-chain registries and attestations (issuance, revocation, hash anchoring, IPFS metadata) for display.
AI-native development
- Bluprynt is a Claude-native engineering org. Our process is enforced through Claude Code itself — pre-commit hooks (lint, type-check, test-sanity), specialized sub-agents (planning, execution, lint-fix, test-runner), and domain skills wired into every repo via a shared discipline layer.
- You use LLMs and agent orchestration as a core part of your workflow to ship faster at equal or better quality, including AI-assisted test generation and data-quality automation.
- You're comfortable inside an opinionated, hook-enforced pipeline: every change maps to a Linear issue, every PR carries a docs-impact declaration and Conventional-Commit history, and CI gates (coverage, accessibility, security tiers, release tracking) must be green before merge.
How you work
- Senior architectural ownership through a live migration; startup velocity with a bias toward shipping.
- Strong written and spoken English, and the ability to work core EST hours.
Strong-to-Have
- Regulatory / compliance-technology UI experience (KYC/AML flows, regulatory reporting, supervisory dashboards, credential/attestation systems).
- Embeddable widget / SDK distribution — iframe-embedded, JWT-authenticated widgets with dual CJS + ESM exports (tsdown/Rollup).
- Frontend LLM integration — RAG-backed help, confidence-scored classification surfaces, AI-assisted form completion.
- Identity-verification SDK integration (Sumsub, Persona), plus Stripe, PostHog, Sentry.
- Frontend deployment, observability, and release management (Sentry release wiring, performance budgets).
- Interaction polish (Framer Motion / Motion), rich editors (Milkdown/Ace), PDF/report export (jsPDF).
What you'll work with
TypeScript (strict) · React 18/19 · Next.js 15/16 (Pages + App Router) · Tailwind 3→4 · shadcn/ui + Radix · MobX → TanStack Query v5 + Jotai · React Hook Form / Formik + Zod · TanStack Table · Recharts · wagmi/viem/ethers + Solana/XRP adapters · NestJS + GraphQL + Prisma/PostgreSQL · Heroku (migrating to AWS).
App Router + RSC by default · shared @blupryntco/ui design system (Storybook + Chromatic) · Biome + pnpm/bun + Turborepo · Vitest + Playwright + axe-core · AWS (ECS/EKS) + Redis · Chainlink ACE integration.
You'll have significant influence over architectural decisions as we transition from the current stack to the target.
The offer
- Ground-floor equity in a company building critical infrastructure for a multi-trillion-dollar market transition.
- Direct impact: your architectural decisions become the system regulators, issuers, and exchanges depend on.
- A founder who has already mapped the compliance domain in depth — you're not figuring out the product alone.
- Autonomy to shape the engineering org, stack, and culture from the earliest stage.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience (discussed in the initial screen).
Bluprynt builds the compliance metadata foundation that makes credentials trustworthy. Credentials are the enforcement layer. Compliance metadata is the evidence layer. We link the two.
