What you’ll be responsible for:
Circle is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our EMEA team and be responsible for the product reconciliation process for stable coins in compliance with electronic money regulations in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product reconciliation, dealing within regulated environments, and an understanding of blockchain technology and stable coins.
What you'll work on:
- Reconcile and review blockchain data and the corresponding bank transactions to ledger ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions.
- Handle high volume data efficiently, utilising reconciliation tools and structured approaches to maintain data integrity.
- Identify, document, investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks/ exceptions in a timely manner.
- Produce daily reporting to provide operational insights and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead the monthly attestation process and collaborate with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Support in finance transformation initiatives to automate processes and integrate with upstream systems and ERP.
- Complete periodic regulatory returns accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with electronic money regulations.
- Utilise knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure financial reporting accuracy.
- Understand and adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, implementing internal controls as necessary.

What you'll bring to Circle:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or STEM.
- ACA/ ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product reconciliation, accounting or financial analysis, with previous experience in a regulated environment.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify anomalies and discrepancies in financial data.
- Proficiency in understanding and analysing blockchain transactions and stable coins.
- Ability to establish good practices and improve/ build processes. Experience in transformation or system implementation is an added advantage.
- Experience of using reconciliation and analytics tools and software.
- Demonstrated capability to thrive in high-pressure environments, take full ownership of tasks and consistently meet challenging deadlines..
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
