As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll be joining a team that's leading the charge in a cutting-edge
project: developing a full-fledged credit card operation using the blockchain as the primary
source of truth for customer balances.
We are working with Rust to develop our microservices, and are accountable for the entire
issuer operation. This includes not only card issuance, but also transaction authorization and
the clearing process.
Our team is responsible for creating a robust and reliable system capable of ensuring every
transaction is authorized quickly and accurately. The authorization process is especially time-
sensitive and requires both a deep understanding of our technical stack and a clear mindset
under pressure. Our focus is on performance, speed, and scalability, as we strive to provide the
best experience for our customers while maintaining the security and integrity of our operations.

What You'll Be Doing:
- You will be responsible for developing backend applications using your knowledge of architecture, monitoring, and product.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites and debugging production issues.
- You will create the best solutions on the market and also mentor junior developers.
- Finally, you will need to work closely with other developers, business stakeholders, and product owners to ensure successful product delivery.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Is proficient in developing software using Rust;
- Minimum of 8 years of professional hands-on experience;
- Demonstrable experience leading engineers;
- Strong systems architecture and coding/scripting skills;
- Experience proactively collaborating across different engineering teams;
- Experience working with service-oriented architectures and complicated systems at scale;
- Comfortable with ambiguity; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done;
- Ability to quickly understand technical and business requirements, translating them into technical design and implementation;
- Advanced English communication skills, primarily for internal communication with our diverse, multinational team.
