What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with engineers and leaders to design and enhance our APIs, embodying the spirit of teamwork and innovation.
- Engage in spirited discussions to outline architectural strategies, ensuring our solutions resonate with customer needs.
- Elevate our team's technical excellence, ensuring our systems are both reliable and straightforward.
- Lead by example in developing and maintaining automated test suites, and delve into debugging production challenges.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering an environment where they can ascend in their careers.
- Implement and evaluate crucial software tools, processes, and metrics to streamline our operations.
- Contribute actively to CloudWalk's broader engineering initiatives, sharing knowledge and inspiring change.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Experience managing critical infrastructure and collaborating with leading cloud service providers.
- Deep understanding of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Some exposure to Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Has some knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem (installments, SPI, SPB, CIP, etc.).
- Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails development.
- Exceptional communication skills, with advanced English for effective interaction within our global team.

As a member of a fully remote and distributed team, you are expected to complete tasks autonomously, being highly collaborative and self-driven.
