About this role
- Investigate security events, incidents, and unusual activity.
- Analyze logs from applications, infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud services.
- Build and improve detections, alerts, security controls, and internal processes.
- Work across Security teams on current risks and priorities.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve tools, controls, and ways of working across Security teams, then help turn them into practical solutions.
- Continuously improve how the team uses AI and turn effective approaches into reusable tools and workflows.
- Document findings and communicate risks clearly.
What You Need To Succeed
- Hands-on experience in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Incident Response, or Security Engineering.
- Comfort analyzing logs across applications, infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud (you go to the source, not only dashboards).
- Experience building or improving detections, alerts, and security controls.
- Scripting skills to automate investigations and workflows (TypeScript, Python, or similar).
- Clear written communication of findings and risk to technical and non-technical partners.
- Advanced English for day-to-day work with a global team.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GCP / cloud security telemetry and IAM.
- Experience with SIEM / detection-as-code (e.g. Chronicle, Splunk, or similar).
- Fintech / payments security context (PCI DSS, Pix, acquiring).
- Building internal security tooling or LLM-assisted triage workflows.
