About Crown

Crown Digital is a regulated Brazilian VASP building the infrastructure layer for BRL-denominated digital assets. We issue BRLV — a 1:1 BRL payment stablecoin backed by federal Brazilian treasury bonds (LFTs) — and operate the reserve, custody, and settlement infrastructure behind it. Alongside it we run an active FX and stablecoin desk that moves real institutional flow. We're regulated, audited, and building for institutions and fintechs.

We're backed by Paradigm, Framework, Valor, Norte, Coinbase Ventures, Paxos, and Nubank co-founder Ed Wible, with a goal of R$1 trillion of BRLV in circulation within a decade.

Why this role exists

Crown's trading desk is growing fast — across FX, stablecoins, and the treasury reserve that backs BRLV — and we're adding a dedicated trader to work the book in real time. The executive team owns the strategy, thesis, and risk appetite; this seat executes it on a live desk. It's a rare early-career opportunity — real responsibility from day one, learning directly from the people running the firm — for a driven trader ready to grow into it.

What you will own

  • Execute Crown's FX and stablecoin flow — spot, forward, and on-chain settlement — accurately and with minimal slippage, within the mandate and limits the executive team sets.
  • Manage the BRLV reserve — execute and roll the LFT (Tesouro Selic) portfolio that backs BRLV 1:1, sizing the book to mint and burn flow.
  • Hedge and manage intraday risk — help hedge FX exposure as flow comes in, keep positions within limits, and react fast enough that market moves don't erode the spread.
  • Capture the cost-basis arbitrage — work the USDC cost basis to lift P&L and let the desk quote more competitively.
  • Monitor markets, liquidity, and counterparties across venues, and surface opportunities to the desk.
  • Cover the desk and act as first line of defense on risk — keep it running through the day and escalate the moment a limit is breached or a trade looks off.
  • Reconcile every trade with the back office and keep precise records.

You'll start close to the executive team's mandate and earn more discretion as you prove yourself — a seat to grow into, not a strategy or portfolio role.

What we are looking for

Must-haves

  • Some real exposure to markets — an internship, a junior seat on a câmbio/FX, fixed-income, or crypto/OTC desk, or your own serious trading. You don't need years of experience; you need to have been close to live markets and be driven to build your career on the desk.
  • Sharp with numbers and fast on your feet: you reason through sizing, risk, and simple unit economics quickly — and learn even faster.
  • Precise and disciplined under pressure. You don't fat-finger, and you treat every wire, address, and network as unrecoverable if it's wrong — because it is.
  • Driven and coachable: you take feedback well, move quickly, and are eager to earn responsibility.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Signals we value

  • You follow markets closely and trade your own book — crypto, FX, or equities — out of genuine interest.
  • Familiarity with crypto and stablecoins (USDC), on-chain transfers, and venue liquidity (e.g., Binance).
  • Working knowledge of Brazilian market structure (B3, Futures, SELIC system).
  • Familiarity with Brazilian public bonds (LFT / Tesouro Selic) and reserve or treasury management.
  • Progress toward a market certification (ANCORD / ANBIMA), CGA or CFA — a plus, not a requirement.
