The Opportunity
Finance Manager (Spain)
This full-time role reports to the Head of Finance and supports Ledn EEC, S.L., the Spanish legal entity.
You will have a dual reporting line to the General Manager of Spain to align global financial strategy with local operations.
You must be based in Spain and able to work legally there, collaborating with both local and global teams.
The ideal candidate has experience in an agile startup or financial industry, capable of leading and executing tasks hands-on.
Role Responsibilities
Lead finance operations and compliance for Ledn's Spanish entity, including regulatory reporting and local GAAP considerations.
Ensure compliance with MiCA regulations, supporting reporting and documentation.
Manage relationships with auditors and local tax authorities, overseeing legal entity forecasts and tax compliance.
Represent the legal entity in communications with regulatory authorities.
Participate in global finance processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
Support process improvements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
5-7 years of experience in finance, operations, or accounting, preferably in startups or financial services.
Experience with international entities, EU regulations, and reporting is a plus.
Knowledge of MiCA, CNMV, Bank of Spain, and data tools like Excel, SQL, Snowflake.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in Spanish and English.
