As a Staff Product Manager for the Business Experience role on the Core Product team, you will collaborate extensively with designers, researchers, data scientists, engineers, and other product managers to craft the product vision and strategy to help businesses and organizations thrive on Nextdoor, driving value for people and for their business. You will develop products across business onboarding, content creation, business discovery, and analytics. This ecosystem of features should enhance the interaction between these entities and the local community, fostering a more connected and dynamic neighborhood.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • You’ll lead the product vision, strategy and roadmap for our Businesses & Organizations products
  • You’ll define and ship new experiences that enable businesses to actively participate and contribute to Nextdoor, while also creating avenues for people to discover, learn about, and initiate conversations with or about these businesses
  • Along with your cross-functional partners, you’ll be responsible and involved in all phases of product development, from ideation to launch and continuous iteration
  • You’ll be scrappy and willing to wear multiple hats to ensure product success, even if this means taking on tasks outside traditional product management roles
  • You’ll define and track key metrics to measure the success and impact of the Businesses & Organizations products
  • Participate in in-person Nextdoor events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and other team building exercises
  • Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to the KIND culture that Nextdoor values

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 10+ years of product management experience, preferably with a focus on products in consumer social or SMBs (and/or the ability to perform at an advanced level in the domain)
  • Strong understanding of user experience design and usability principles, combined with the creativity to define game-changing and inspirational products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, design & research, data science, product marketing, etc.)
  • Strong analytical thinker, able to interpret data, thoroughly analyze results, and drive to critical outcomes and success
  • Comfortable working on technical products, with a readiness to dive into technical details and product architecture with engineering
