Overview
The Director of Marketing will be a key executive leader, responsible for defining, executing, and optimizing the comprehensive marketing strategy for OpenAssets, with a primary focus on institutional, regulatory, and enterprise audiences.
This role will drive market positioning, ensure narrative consistency across all channels, and directly contribute to achieving core corporate OKRs, investor relations, and successful rebrand execution.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Performance Ownership
- Define and execute marketing strategy aligned with corporate OKRs and ROI expectations.
- Own KPIs, budgets, and reporting dashboards to drive data-driven prioritization.
- Establish the marketing operating system and scale the team and contractor bench.
Brand, Narrative, and Messaging Architecture
- Evolve the OpenAssets narrative and institutional positioning for regulatory audiences.
- Maintain a unified messaging framework and approved language banks for company-wide use.
Go-to-Market, Growth, and Revenue Enablement
- Identify target audiences and execute lead-generation campaigns (content, webinars, events).
- Enable BD and Leadership with sales materials and end-to-end event support.
- Track and optimize marketing impact on pipeline influence and conversion rates.
Product Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Develop segment-specific positioning, use cases, and competitive intelligence battlecards.
- Partner with Product on launch readiness and core enablement assets like case studies.
Executive, Investor, and Crisis Communications
- Support executive leadership with investor narratives and fundraising communications.
- Manage crisis communications and high-stakes messaging for partners and the press.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Regulatory Awareness
- Serve as the central voice for brand alignment and regulatory risk posture across teams.
- Proactively update narratives as product capabilities and market dynamics evolve.
Foundational Content Execution
- Develop foundational copy for the website and talking points for leadership announcements.
- Define social messaging guardrails and review key sales material for narrative coherency.
Digital Presence, PR, and Partner Marketing (as needed)
- Own digital conversion strategy and thought leadership distribution through PR and partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive brand narratives, messaging architectures, and multi-channel marketing strategies, preferably in FinTech, enterprise software, B2B services, or regulated industries.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to craft sophisticated, institutional-grade content for C-suite, investor, and regulatory audiences.
- Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, financial oversight, and performance metrics (ROI, LTV, CPA).
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, especially rebrands or major organizational messaging shifts.
- Ability to work effectively across legal, product, and business development functions to ensure alignment.
- Experience in supporting investor relations and executive communications is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
