This is a highly visible role that requires direct interaction with our banking partners and other network participants. Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery Management: Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex blockchain payment solutions, from inception to deployment. This includes coordinating deployment activities with all network participants, ensuring a smooth and successful rollout.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key customer-facing representative for delivery, building strong relationships with banking partners. Effectively manage expectations and communicate progress, risks, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Agile Leadership & Coaching: Champion agile principles and practices across multiple cross-functional delivery squads, guiding teams towards continuous improvement and high performance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a critical nexus for communication and coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration between delivery squads and other crucial departments to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and resolve impediments.
- Process Optimisation: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance delivery processes, tools, and methodologies, contributing to Partior's overall organisational agility and efficiency.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact delivery timelines or quality.
- Team Empowerment: Foster an environment of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning within delivery teams, promoting self-organisation and problem-solving.
- Reporting & Metrics: Establish and maintain relevant delivery metrics and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into progress, predictability, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project, program, or delivery management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Demonstrable experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application in software delivery environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple teams and departments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices.
- Solid understanding of enterprise technology environments and challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and customer empathy are critical for success in this client-facing role.
- Highly organized and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
Highly Beneficial:
- Experience with blockchain technology.
- In-depth knowledge of payment systems, clearing, and settlement processes.
- Experience in driving or supporting organisational agility transformations or implementing large-scale agile frameworks.
- Experience with B2B solutions and packaged software distribution.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO, SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2 Agile).
