Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Technical Product Manager) who will act as the key interface between Product Management and Technology teams. This role is ideal for a senior Business Analyst Manager-type profile with strong technical fluency and deep payments or financial market infrastructure domain knowledge. You will be responsible for translating product requirements into detailed technical specifications, leading a team of Technical Product Owners (TPOs), driving documentation and API schema development, coordinating functional testing, and ensuring timely delivery of features across Partior’s payment rails and FX settlement products.
Key Professional Requirements:
- Bachelors in IT / Engineering
- 5+ years of working experience
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSD Schema
- Familiarity with the SDLC lifecycle process. Working knowledge and experience on agile framework is preferred
- Proficient in documentation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Java would be an advantage
- Financial product knowledge would be an advantage
- Experience in some payments domain or knowledge of ISO20022, Faster Payments, Open Banking, SEPA, Clearing and Settlement would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in managing diverse stakeholders
- Strong time management – able to work within tight deadlines and schedules
Key Responsibilities
- Manager of the Business Analyst (Technical Product Owners - TPOs) team
- Act as primary liaison between the Product management and Technology teams on the translation of product requirements into technical specifications
- Document at the required level of detail and then communicate functional & non functional requirements inc user journey flows to development teams
- Define user acceptance criteria for product feature release
- Maintaining updated documentation of business/functional requirements each product release
- Manage the team to as the primary internal Product tester to ensure configuration is fully tested and configured in line with signed off business requirements. Working closely with the QA (Testing) team
- Ensure critical issues are raised in timely manner and followed through to resolution, liaising with Product management on prioritization where trade offs are required
- When prioritized support the Business Product Managers in business requirements gathering and analysis for new client implementations and renewals. Lead the API (inc schema development/policies) product stream
- When prioritized support the client success & implementation teams in their User Acceptance Tests (UATs) implementation plan by providing product explanations or document walk through
