RST currently works with 17 healthcare systems across five countries, with strong regional momentum and operational scale.

RST is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who will work on an EMR platform. The ideal candidate is strong in backend development using Java and Spring, has experience with Angular for frontend, and is comfortable working with MongoDB. Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2, FHIR) and integration tools like Mirth Connect is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
  • Build responsive frontend modules using Angular.
  • Work with MongoDB for data modelling, performance tuning, and scalable data access.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
  • Implement RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality EMR features.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure performance, security, and reliability.
  • Work with healthcare integration formats and interoperability workflows (nice to have).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Java and Spring Framework.
  • 6-7 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular (v10+ preferred).
  • Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database patterns.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based deployments (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

Nice to Have (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Experience working with Mirth Connect or any integration engine.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR, HIS, or healthcare workflows.
