This is a mid-level client-focused position responsible for maintaining client relationships and driving growth at our fast-paced, results-oriented agency. This strategic role will be the primary liaison between our TV and CTV clients and our integrated teams, ensuring alignment, performance, and measurable business outcomes. The Client Services Manager will have the opportunity to join a close-knit client service team where their efforts will play a key role in mentoring direct team members as well as across the agency.
While this is a remote role, periodically accommodating meetings in different US time zones is expected. Preference may be given to candidates in Eastern time zones.
What does a Client Services Manager do at Rainstorm Direct?
Drive the success of your client accounts.
- Lead internal teams in growing integrated video campaigns (TV and CTV) for a select number of clients (ranging $1m-$10m/annually) as the primary point person for day-to-day account management.
- Understand clients’ goals and objectives and collaborate effectively with our integrated planning, buying and analytics teams to drive business growth.
- Build long-term client relationships with a strategic mindset and serve as main facilitator of cross-functional internal teams.
- Participate in pitching new clients, generating sales, and collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Maintain proforma models that ladder up to each of your client’s business and keep the team and client aligned to achieve the client’s business goals.
- Oversee and assist with research initiatives both from an audience development standpoint and competitive landscape.
Oversee campaign performance, budgets, and team performance.
- Oversee all aspects of campaign execution, from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist management with invoice development, reconciliation, and reporting to client status of financials.
- Identify and improve overall efficiencies to reduce work hours within campaigns, create better processes, and delegate as needed.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, budget pacing, report on results, manage client deliverables, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
- Create and build weekly narratives, campaign briefs, marketing and communication plans/calendars, brainstorming sessions, strategy sessions, flowcharts, POVs, etc.
- Mentor account team members, providing direction, feedback, and support to achieve client and business objectives.
- Work with agency team to raise issues/points of view and develop a unified agency point-of-view for clients.
- Communicate and participate in strategic conversations, and work effectively across cross-functional teams (planning, media, and data ops).
What makes a great Client Services Manager at Rainstorm Direct?
- 4+ years of client management experience in advertising, ideally in direct response/DTC marketing.
- Linear / DRTV experience required. CTV is a plus.
- Ability to tell a story or build a narrative using data.
- Proven experience working independently to develop or assist in strategies and present ideas and solutions internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and scale large DTC clients (experience with DR clients spending $1M-$10M+ annually.
- Expertise in DTC campaign management with a focus on results.
- Strong communication, presentation, customer service, and interpersonal skills to mentor teams and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to develop innovative strategies, think creatively, and adapt to the evolving media landscape.
- Marketplace awareness and financial literacy.
- Understanding of a full-funnel media approach and KPI's evaluated across each channel throughout the funnel.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, working with multiple in-house teams.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong project management skills; experience with Smartsheet or other similar software preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, CRM, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
