THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Senior Tax Manager for our Finance team in New York!
The Global Tax & Treasury team is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to work with tax compliance and reporting, including federal, state, and international tax matters in the US and Europe. This person will be responsible for ensuring tax efficiency and compliance in those regions by managing local BPOs, and for supporting the global tax provision calculation and disclosure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US and European tax laws, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
YOUR IMPACT
- Manage daily tax compliance in the US and Europe
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries
- Support Global Income Tax provision calculations and disclosure
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Manage local BPOs
- Communicate with the company's management and board of directors on tax matters
- Represent the company in tax audits and appeals

WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related discipline preferred
- Solid knowledge in taxation, with 7+ years of experience in the tax area
- Solid experience with US (federal and state) and European taxes
- Experience in Income Tax provision exercises and tax modeling
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Keen interest in and ability to grasp tax laws of other countries
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

In New York, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Washington, the annual base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. The base salary range for other locations may vary. Actual base salary will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications and/or other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role may also be eligible to participate in either our annual bonus plan or a sales incentive plan, and our performance-based stock option program.
